Deletes one plugin or theme, files included, from the websites you list in sites. It runs at once, with no confirmation step. Only inactive items can be deleted: deactivate the item first with “Activate or deactivate a component on websites”.

It creates one site action per website that passes the checks. The work finishes later: see Writes and asynchronous operations. Follow the site actions with “List site actions”. Websites that cannot be processed are reported in meta.skipped, each with a reason_code and a message, and do not fail the call. A website is skipped, with UNSUPPORTED, when the item is still active or cannot be deleted: WordPress itself, the Modular Connector plugin and the theme in use are never deleted. It is also skipped when it is not connected (SITE_UNREACHABLE), does not have the component, hides its update notice, or already has too many pending or running actions.

Body

sites (array of integers, required): ids of the websites to act on, 1 to 50.

Errors

404: the component is not installed on any of your websites.
422: sites is missing, empty, has more than 50 ids, or contains an id that matches no website.
