Update a Slack or Discord integration

Changes the URL of the Slack or Discord destination that a notification configuration already has. It never creates a destination, never deletes one, never sends a test message and never switches the channel on or off. A configuration with no destination of that type answers 404: create it with “Create a Slack or Discord integration”.

The integration_type in the path is slack or discord. The complete URL is returned on ordinary reads too. Your role must be allowed to edit notification configurations and the organization’s plan must include the channel; otherwise the request answers 404. The body is checked before the configuration, so a configuration of another organization answers 404 only when the URL is valid.

Body

• url (string, required): at most 2048 characters, a complete https://hooks.slack.com/services/... or https://discord.com/api/webhooks/... URL that matches the type. An empty, missing or masked URL is invalid input, never a request to delete: use “Delete a Slack or Discord integration” for that.

Errors

• 404: no destination of that type, or the type in the path is neither slack nor discord.
• 422: url is empty, masked or not valid for the type.
