# Patch & Protect

Patch & Protect is the managed security add-on: a firewall, hardening and login defences that run on the website itself. These requests read how a website is protected, read the attacks it blocked, and switch the protection on or off over a selection of websites. The defences are configured from the Modular DS dashboard, never here. Switching the protection on installs the protection plugin and is billed for each website.
