# Create a client

POST https://api.modulards.com/api/public/v1/clients
Content-Type: application/json

Creates a client. Use it to add a customer you will assign websites to.

**Body**
- `name` (string, required): at most 255 characters.
- `last_name` (string, optional): at most 255 characters.
- `company` (string, optional): at most 255 characters.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Personal access token created in the Modular DS dashboard; read-only tokens can only call GET endpoints.
