# Broken Links settings

The Broken Links Checker settings of one website: whether its automatic scans are on, the global configuration it uses, the page cap and what discovery leaves out. A website gets its settings when it is assigned to a global configuration, either with "Assign websites to a Broken Links Checker global configuration" or through the default configuration when the website is created. Each website's settings have their own id, found in the `site_preset_broken_link` include of "Retrieve a website" or in `meta.updated` of the assign request.
